An educator that was originally trained with an emphasis on physical rehabilitation and movement (I even earned a clinical doctorate in that focus, specifically the DPT). I also have a certification as a USA Olympic Weightlifting Coach (Level 1) but my interests are less focused on the sport of Olympic Weightlifting and more on the general public and athletes in other sports.
I’m not here simply to fix you or treat/train you, but rather empower you to be the best version of you that you can be and live a better life even if you have chronic pain or fatigue. As a coach and educator I will help you overcome challenges with movement, the gym, and understand how to use the tools available to you to be as physically capable as you can reasonably be.
I’ve worked with a countless number of people who struggle with hypermobility spectrum syndromes and connective tissue disorders (everything on that spectrum including but not limited to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome & Marfans Syndrome), athletes (such as those recovering from ACL tears or tendinopathies), chronic fatigue syndromes, motor vehicle trauma, work site injuries, and/or persistent pain.
I can help people with injuries from head to toe (including upper and lower body issues) so don’t hesitate to reach out.
The fact is I’ve worked with a wide range of clients from elite special forces and professional athletes to low functioning de-conditioned senior citizens. I’ve trained kids as young as 8 years old and seniors as old as 98 years old.
As a physical therapist I currently work with an extremely diverse caseload of patients from elite athletes to people with Ehlers Danlos syndrome and even people with Long COVID.
What I offer is movement focused coaching that is compassionate, non-judgemental, science informed, and tailored from an experienced movement coach external to the industrial medical complex.
